The village of Emparos, in the Municipality of Viannos, held its very first Wine Festival, marking the beginning of a new tradition. The event, which took place in the village square, was warmly embraced by locals and visitors, celebrating the rich winemaking heritage of the region.
Guests had the opportunity to taste excellent wines from local producers, perfectly paired with traditional delicacies such as dakos, apaki, and kalitsounia. The sounds of the Cretan lyra and lute filled the air, creating a festive atmosphere, while dancing continued until the early morning hours.
