Arvi beach

Arvi is a large coastal village located 79 kilometers southeast of Heraklion and 35 kilometers west of Ierapetra. It is built on a small plain in front of the impressive Arvi Gorge, on the site of the ancient city of the same name. The area is dominated by greenhouse cultivations, as the warm climate is ideal for the production of olive oil, fresh vegetables, and, most notably, the famous Arvi banana, renowned throughout Greece for its distinctive aroma and unique taste.

The village has grown significantly in recent years, as it is located very close to truly stunning beaches. However, vacations here remain peaceful, with a relaxed pace. Next to the small harbor, there is a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for unwinding. It is well-organized, offering umbrellas and water sports, while nearby, there are plenty of options for accommodation and dining.
